The frida post partum kit was a must Slippers

Just had my first baby this morning, so here is what I used the most: The thing I am most grateful for that I packed was a handheld electric fan (this especially after baby was born so I could cool myself down while keeping baby at the right temp), and stress ball for labour. An extra pair of Jammies/night gown, plus slippers. Also a big bottle of water and Gatorade (or Gatorlyte if you have GD)

@Ashley omg the electric fan, yes!! I made my husband go home and get mine. I didn’t realize they keep the rooms so warm for the babies, I was SO HOT. Extra long phone charging cord, sleep mask to rest when you can’t get the room all the way dark. If I was doing it again I would bring my own pillow. Snacks. Definitely slippers or I brought slip on sandals I wore with socks. Extra hair ties or headbands.

at my hospital they gave me a fan 😭 do they not do that at all hospitals?

a fan, a fan, & FAN!!!

Chapstick

@Jasmin in the hospital I was at, they had a large fan in my room, but it cooled the whole room, which was nice during labour :] but the handfan was my saving grace after baby was born

I’m following because I have no idea what to pack, almost none of my clothes fit anymore, and they say I’ll most likely have him early due to my cervix shortening at 29 weeks, the only thing I’ve come up with to pack are slippers, as I only have a few things that fit me currently and baby boys first outfit isn’t washed yet 😭
