How long?

How long do you let your babies play in the tub after bath time is over? I feel like we’ve been in here over an hour and he’s getting pruned but doesn’t want out! LOL

I let my little one play for about 20-30 min and then we wash hair, body, and rinse off, (then milk, lotion, jammies, brush teeth, bed time) once she gets older I'll extend it to 40 min before washing

I let my baby play about 10 min only cause bath time is at night, and it’s usually late. Use bath time to get him/her used to water being in their face. It helps them when learning to swim

@Leticia same. He learned how to crawl in the tub and turn the water on. He did that in all his clothes so I let him take a bath just to play. I felt bad wrapping it up after 30 minutes but that seems like a normal time frame for water play?

@Brittney thank you! That’s our typical routine too but I wash then play. I never thought about turning it the other way around. He didn’t really like baths until recently so this never came up

@Ashley it's a good transition to end bath time!

@Leticia he used to be afraid of water in his face but know he always tries drinking from the shower head or faucet, gets soaked and cool with it. When I do it to him it’s a whole other story

Damn. I might need to chill out. We’re in, scrub, out, max 15 minutes lol. What do you do while they are playing for 30 minutes?

i think ours cap at about 15 minutes…how is everyone getting their littles to STAY in the tub for 30 minutes?? Mine has figured out where the thing to unplug the drain is and usually he’s trying to drain the tub before i can even finish washing him up. he’s never been a fan of the bath, he loves his swim lessons and playing in a water table or something similar but once he’s sitting in the bath it’s a struggle to just clean him before he’s trying to climb out

@Jenn I was sitting on the toilet on peanut 😂 and throwing toys back into the tub because that’s a new thing

@Kristina mine was doing that too! I bought 2 extra ones and now his game is taking one off and putting one on

I let my little ones play before I wash them 😊. Then I wash em and give em an extra 5 minutes sometimes 10

I let them play as long as they want. Gives me an opportunity to sit. I sit next to the tub reading a book.

10/15 min max! She plays while I’m cleaning her. We dont really use bath time as a play time.

Like 10-15 minutes she’ll stand up when she’s over it

We don’t put a limit on it I just let him play till he’s done

Some days 15-20 mins, other times I just let him play until he’s ready to get out.
