Consistent weight

So in the first trimester I had severe morning sickness and lost weight. I try to eat but I still feel I’m still losing. Does anyone have any tips on how to gain weight? My OB isn’t concerned yet

You could try to add in more calorie dense foods if you can’t eat a lot. Maybe protein bars, high protein pastas, jam packed smoothies. Things like that. If your obgyn isn’t too concerned I would try to not worry about it too much!

@Samantha thank you! I’m going to add more pastas and smoothies

I lost weight my first trimester as well. You'll be good! My OB said as long as I ate something small I was good. I'm in my second trimester now and am gaining appropriate weight and eating a lot more. All morning sickness / nausea is gone.

I’ve added breakfast essentials for more protein and am trying to snack a lot. I lost a bunch of weight so far but I also started out overweight so my dr isn’t concerned yet. Right now I’m just trying to make healthy choices for protein and such.

That sounds normal my appetite fluctuates before I was pregnant I was drinking about 70oz a day half of my body weight I'm having a hard time consuming water now so weird

I would increase proteins and dairy products, that’s what the baby needs to grow (muscles and bones) while carbs, sugar and fat (like oil, avocado) are only for you. So if you increase carbs sugar and fat you are gaining wait but not your baby most likely, and this is not ideal.
