Strange noises!!

Anyone else’s baby learnt to make gasping noises and does it continually? She’s making herself cough! I’ve got an owlet and her oxygen is fine, no cough or cold I’m sure she’s doing it on purpose but it’s weird!

Yes, my little girl makes a gasping in breath kinda sound but she tenses too so I think it’s happiness/excitement but she appears to live her new trick 😂

@Kia it’s so scary isn’t it! The first few times she did it I panicked but she is playing and laughing at the time so I think it’s definitely on purpose

Yesss! My girl is doing this! She started a few days ago and it was terrifying the first few times 😂 now we just think it's excitement because she kicks her feet and flaps her hands at the same time

Yes I was so worried at first then she kept doing it and I watched her and she looked happy enough so I just assumed it was her new favourite sound 😂

Yes, that’s your baby getting used to breathing in through their mouth! Completely normal, but very scary to start with. X

My LB is literally doing that right now! Unreal this popped up. Scares me so much I can’t stand it but I know he’s playing.
