A doula is a trained person who helps you advocate for yourself and can help you prepare before and after baby is born some help with lactation some do massage during labor some do placental encapsulation- not sure of the specifics of that its just a subject i kept seeing listed when looking for a doula. https://www.ribirthworkercoop.com/ this website has lists of doulas in network with insurances listed by insurance company!
