Food suggestions

I’ve never thrown a party before and I want to know if anyone has any suggestions on food to serve at a first bday party that isn’t very expensive

I'm ordering 2 maxi pizzas and making sliders and a big salad. Then cupcakes and cakepops... maybe few more desserts. And the cake of course

We're doing hot dogs on the grill, plus chicken salad croissants, cucumber tea sandwiches, chips, and a fruit tray. Plus cake and smash cake. We're expecting 30-ish people though and I tend to manage to feed that many nice stuff for about 200 dollars by shipping Aldi and Sam's Club. Cheaper than that pretty much means pizza. Cake at Sam's Club or Costco is great and cheap though!

We’re doing burgers and hot dogs with chips and cake from Costco. I’m making her smash cake myself. ❤️ so excited, but hubby will be out of town until the morning of her bday, so it’s got to be easy prep.

We’re doing a pot luck style and for protein I’m just getting fried/grilled chicken from Jewel. And I’m making my baby a smash cake and then a regular cake for the adults
