Don’t try to do anything to stop it. Just sit and wait it out and be present. console/reprimand?/discuss the situation after he is called down. They will get shorter and shorter when you don’t try to talk to him while it’s happening and just let it happen.

Super normal and expected. Reading more around child development can help you feel more prepared for the different changes as well as insight around brain development and how the emotions may seem to be “crazy” to you but it’s a big deal for them. The book the whole brain child is really good at describing how to help navigate the big feelings by connecting with their emotional side first before trying to fix or seek a resolution
Fortunately, when your baby screams, it's at home, whereas my baby's cries are heard outside, possibly by half of my street and neighbors.
