November 2022 toddlers
Hi All, has anyone got a child born Nov 2022 or that end of the year? We are putting our names down for playschools and confused as to if she should start ECC Sept 2025 or 2026. Local playschool says 2026 but shel be going on 4 then, seems a little old. I was thinking sept 2025 and then see how she gets on, either another year of playschool or junior infants. First child so any advice appreciated. She is in a childminder atm so not worried about social skills etc just thinking about school prep etc.

My boy was born sep 2022 and I've his name down for preschool but there is no confirmation yet if he got the place as waiting lists are huge. My girl was 5 starting school and she was fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks all, I am going to insist on applying for Sept 2025 and see how that goes with them. Have to pay a deposit and yet a place is still not guaranteed.

My boy was September 2022 he's starting ECCE September 2025 and won't be able to start primary school until 2027 (going 5) as they have to turn 4 I think it's the june before they're due to start primary
