It took about 2 weeks after my surgery to get a negative. I was told that if you’re still testing positive 2 weeks later it could be a sign of retained tissue, so just keep an eye on it. It then took around 4 months for my very regular periods to go back to their normal. 11 months later we conceived again. It happens quicker for others though, hoping it’s the case for you!
I had a D&C March 18th, tested positive until April 2nd, then fell pregnant May 19th! Everyone is different and some people's bodies take alot longer so please don't put any pressure on yourself and make sure you are mentally ready! Losing a baby is a lot and sometimes we harbour the feelings without realising it! I struggled with anxiety when I fell pregnant again and think in hindsight it may have been too soon but I wouldn't change anything!
