When did you stop giving baby formula?

We stopped formula the next day after her first birthday. We had to do formula and whole milk mixed and less formula everyday. It worked but now shes on whole milk and she gets 3 cups of milk everyday. She eats solid foods and snacks between.

I did the same and mixed formula with milk until mine got used to the milk. Her poop was runny so we switched to lactaid milk and she's been fine since.

We just stopped giving formula my son is the same age 1 year 3 weeks we replaced with whole milk if you want to wean off of formula you can always mix whole milk with the formula and little by little put less formula until he gets used to the whole milk. (I was told this was okay but you can always check with your pediatrician if you have any concerns about it)

With my first one I stopped right at 1 years old. With my second I stopped around 14 months bc she was a premie & needed that extra calories. With my 3rd & 4th I did it 2 weeks before their 1 st birthday

I stopped giving baby girl formula right after her birthday. I had to wean her off it though because she instantly noticed the difference. So I did 50% formula and 50% milk then gave her like 2oz of formula and the rest 4oz of whole milk and then continued on with the milk.

Thanks so much everyone! This was so helpful. My fiance and I are going to start transitioning baby. I wanted to know how is everyone mixing the formula with milk? Are you using powder or liquid formula?

Also how many ounces does everyone give their little one?

@Cherie my baby drank the regular yellow can Enfamil. I give her 6oz to 8oz of Milk depending on but when I weaned her off formula I did half and half. So half powder with the water like you normally would and the rest of it I do milk. Now she just drinks milk.

Then once you introduce the 50/50 method you can then do more milk less formula until you get it to just regular whole milk. Hope this helps mama 💗
