Mum of 2. My eldest is 3yrs and LO is 3wks.
Anyone else constantly shouting at their eldest? She doesn't listen to me and I'm always finding that I'm just shouting at her over everything to points that I'm like in her face shouting and I feel like I've been like that for all my pregnancy. But I feel so bad because I wanna be able to play and enjoy with her which we do at times but I feel like I'm constantly shouting at her and she's always saying now she wants her dad etc. But I dunno how to control it😩
Anyone else gone through what I've gone through?

I am completely right there with you! My little one is 9 weeks and I feel like all I do is shout at my 3 year old. Gentle parenting does not work! Shouting doesn’t work either - but sometimes it’s so hard to keep your cool.
I don’t really have any tips other than your not alone!

My youngest is 4.5 months, it has gotten easier. I think it's such a difficult transition for the older child, they've gone from being the centre of our worlds to having to share that attention. I try my hardest to distract from the negative attention, some days I feel like all I do is shout tho. My daughter does not respond to gentle parenting or shouting.. we've started telling her to go have a lay down and some alone time and she generally comes back a lot more chilled out.
