Anyone else hating work ? I’m 24 weeks and I’m so so over it but I don’t start maternity leave until the end of July I’m just so exhausted I don’t have the motivation I have been having terrible migraines that landed me three nights in the hospital so I’m currently on a sickline until Tuesday but I just don’t want to go back my doctor told me he was happy to extend my sick line but I don’t want to take the mick with the time off I’m having anyone else feeling this way ?

I feel the same, luckily I haven't been off ill or anything but I don't want to work anymore 😞
If the doc is offering to extend it why not, as long as it doesn't leave you short money wise and your happy to have a bit longer off.
Have some time to relax and get yourself in a good place before doing your last stint at work before maternity leave.

I've been off on a sick note since the end of Feb, purely due to my anxiety levels, fatigue, and lack of support from my employer, making me not really want to go back! Honestly, it's given me time to rest up and put myself and my baby first, and it's made being pregnant much easier this time round!
We think this is going to be our last baby, so I just keep thinking to myself that I'll never have this "excuse" again and I can't be penalised for the time off as it's pregnancy related. It was hard to come to terms with at the start as I felt a fraud and as I'm a community nurse, I felt like I was letting my patients down...but i realised I was pouring from an empty cup and didn't want to be there - and that wasn't beneficial to anyone.

I think it's seriously something you should consider, obviously considering your financial circumstances etc.
Seperate to that - have you not got any annual leave that you can use to make your time off earlier? I'm starting my mat leave at the start of July but have 5 weeks annual leave to use, so I am actually finishing at the end of this month..

I feel the exact same. I’ve rang in sick for the rest of this week purely due to feeling so achey and lack of sleep. This is the first time I’ve rung in since being pregnant and even worked through my sickness at the start so I don’t feel too guilty. im also a community nurse and really starting to struggle at 26 weeks, not due to finish until end of July but I was given 3 lots of bilateral legs to dress on Tuesday and it killed me off, I had more the next day as well so just thought to myself it’s not going to get any easier x
