I've seen a lot of posts lately about cradle cap and comments are flooded with treatments.
My baby girl had cradle cap at birth but we let it be as we didn't want to use products on her unnecessary. As I understand cradle cap is literally just a visual issue. It does not hurt baby, it is not contagious and it is completely normal.
What's peoples reason for treating it so quickly? Not shaming just genuinely asking 😅
As mentioned we left ours to clear up on its own, didn't scrape or comb it or use anything but water to wash baby and it was more or less gone by 6 months old. When did your babies cradle cap clear?

Days to months cuz it can be persistent … i used to be an infant teacher and sometimes it goes away the first time
Why treat it at all if it is just a natural thing that falls off on its own? :)

I didn’t actually realise there was a specific treatment for it my little girl had it around 4 months old I noticed it straight away in the early stages and just used organic coconut oil warm water and a baby brush to gently massage it away and it cleared up immediately and never came back
