Sleeping through the night?

My 4 week old went almost 7 hours before I woke her up to feed her. She’s over the birth weight now can I let her sleep until she naturally wakes up?

Thank you,

Yeah the Midwife told me once they hit Birth Weight you can let them tell you when they’re hungry, don’t need to wake them!

You lucky devil!! I’m every 2 hours still withh huh my 4 week old 😫 she eats so much too 4-5oz every time. My midwife said if she’s getting enough during the day there’s no need to wake her

That’s fine.
Hope you enjoyed the sleep 🥰
Although if you’re anything like me I kept waking up panicking to check they were ok😂 xx

She is beautiful 😍!!
Yes, you can let her sleep once she is over her birth weight. My little girl went 6 hours the other night, which was a nice surprise haha xx

I did! I woke up almost every hour and ended up waking her myself at half 3 to feed! 🤦🏼‍♀️

we’re on about 4/5 oz too every time now. She’s a hungry girlie 😂

Tell me your secret first?😂😂😂 xxxx

Yes, my girl is the same and has been since birth 🤣 we were waking her every 3 hours in the day and 5 at night but now just let her sleep through as she’s at birth weight

Ok! This is the new goals...she is gorgeous. I believe it's ok as long as she is gaining weight and producing wet/dirty nappies regular!! We are still up every 3 hours currently but have HV today to confirm we are above birth weight

I need to know how you get her to sleep 7 hours 🙈 mine is 4 weeks today, takes 4oz every 2.5-3hrs and deciding to stay awake during the night feeds 😫

How is it? 😮 my baby is almost 3 months and our max sleeping time was 3.5 hours and I thought myself lucky that it has improved from 2 hours xd

Avatar

Absolutely , enjoy! 😉 Other mamas please feel no pressure! Every baby is different and this is the exception (she prob won’t do it every night at this age, there will be loads of ups and downs until her sleep matures and we can see an established pattern and longer periods of night-time sleep

Thanks ladies!! And sorry no tips, tricks or secrets, I think this young lady just likes her sleep 😅 according to my mum I was the exact same, I’m just hoping she continues to enjoy her sleep x x
