Cold
My baby has got a cold and really not herself. She is normally the most smiliest, content baby through the day but since being ill is just crying constantly! I’ve tried saline drops, calpol although doesn’t seem to have a temp so reluctant to give it, extra feeds, cuddles! She’s has eye drops too as had conjunctivitis with it. Just not sure what else to do 😰. Also had 0 sleep as so unsettled with sleep. Any tips?

The calpol plug in and the Asda vapour bubble bath helped when my son had a cold last week!x
I would give the calpol if she is unsettled, even if no fever, as babies can’t tell us if they’re in pain and she may have a headache.
Is she wheezing or really chesty? Might be worth getting a GP to give her the once over if she is this unhappy.

That’s true, not all about temperature! I can’t really tell if she’s wheezy as she’s so congested she’s snorting😞. Finally giving in to sleep in her dad’s arms. Luckily she’s still feeding- more than ever!

From one mum with a poorly bubba to another, hang in there! 🤗 My little boy has been poorly with a bad cold/cough since Sunday too (I’ve also got it and feel rough 😩) and it’s sooo tough and absolutely horrible seeing them feeling rough and not like themselves isn’t it! Like yours he’s much more unsettled and just wants to be with me and is feeding loads too, especially during the night 😵💫 (EBF). We’ve been using calpol as he has had an on-off temperature bless him but otherwise just the saline nose spray before feeding and I did buy a baby Vicks too but not sure it helped 🥲. Ive also been trying to use a baby snot sucker but he doesn’t like that at all 😅. I’ve barely slept in over 7 weeks due to a regression anyway but sleep has been almost non-existent and a broken mess since he got poorly as he keeps waking up so congested and upset 😟. Hopefully they both feel better soon xx
Aww no way! It’s definitely doing the rounds 😫. Yes she’s been going through a regression since the start of March and then this hit us and wow 😮. We had her at the docs as developed a rash too but all clear chest etc and think rash is just all related so think it’s a case of just riding it out😰. Nurse said we can try the vapour rub and saline spray but not 100% convinced it’ll help but to have calpol on hand. Hope our babies and you will feel better soon ❤️🩹
