Background noise

So I don’t really like to have noise on in the background etc when I’m in the house and I’m not watching tv I won’t have it turned on and no music radio either so it’s pretty quiet, but it’s made me realise it’s super quiet when baby is independently playing, should I be playing music for him through the day whether that be normal or baby songs? I won’t have the tv on as I’m trying not to let him have any direct screen time so just wondering if it’s too quiet for him or not x
