Pregnancy and ashwaghanda

I'm just wondering if anyone has taken/is taking ashwaghanda while pregnant? I know the general consensus is not to, mostly because there's not enough research to deem it as safe....but ashwaghanda helps SO MUCH with my mood and my energy and now that I'm into my second trimester I'm really considering getting back to it for the benefits. I mean...it's good for baby for me to not be anxious and to have enough energy to exercise, right? 😅

No, I stopped as soon as I got pregnant and haven’t started back up since I am breastfeeding. I would talk to your Dr

Ultimately, it’s up to you. It’s not forbidden but it’s not recommended. Are the benefits for you worth the potential consequences for the baby? I wouldn’t think it’s worth it.

Heres the thing to remember people have been having babies long before modern medicine foo and modern medicine research is already built on a shaking/racist foundation in the US. So i would ask a doula or an herbalist

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭

How long are we supposed to take this for after birth? It’s been 3 months.
