Ive just been diagnosed. Im 29+1 and im on insulin (metformin doesnt work for me). I had it with my last pregnancy and its not as bad as people make out, just try and eat well and dont feel forced into any sort of unnecessary c-section etc unless theres risks to your baby. X

Sorry to jump on, but does everyone get tested for this? I haven’t yet and I’m almost 29 weeks?

not unless they have seen a risk like I’m a slight bit overweight and my mum has type 2 so I was tested

thank you so much. Although I worry I have other things that may also cause natural birth hard I’m terrified both ways. I’m so scared of being awake during surgery but my mum had one with me and my sister and it was fine so idk x
