Booked to go to Spain later this year and thinking about the transfers. We booked through jet2 and selected a private transfer, there is nowhere to request a car seat yet. Does it allow you to closer to the time you go? If not then have you taken a car seat abroad? Haven’t taken my LG abroad before so wondering how it all works!

We took a car seat abroad last year, was really easy to do, we got a car seat bag for it too. But when we got to Spain, the private transfer taxi driver had one in his taxi already. I would just email jet2 and confirm with them just incase.

I'd recommend taking one rather than hiring one as you don't know if the car seat they supply has been in a car accident, or how.it has been stored, whether it has been thrown around in the boot of the car, and if it's even a suitable car seat for a 2yr old
I am keen on taking one tbh, it’s my partner that doesn’t want the extra ag! we have an avoinaut sky but I don’t want to take it with which means buying a new one which he really doesn’t want to do, I deliberately found a hotel sooo close to the airport and I fear I’ll have to compromise with him somewhere on this one so needed opinions on if they can provide them to weigh our options

I’d ring jet2 and ask… they may automatically add one on if an infant, but legally they can sit on your lap in taxis which is what we have done previously… enough luggage without carting the seat so I’m with partner! 🤦🏻♀️

We used to take car seat abroad while travelling (it’s a pain).
now he’s older we just call the taxi company or email them to ask for car seat. Spain provides car seat 100%
