Only one poo

My baby is 11 days old and he went 48 hours without pooing and I started to worry, the midwife and health visitor told me that it can be normal due to them sometimes going through a growth spurt around this time and using everything towards that instead of waste. They said to me aslong as my baby was settled, still feeding, still weeing and had a soft belly he was ok, they said you would know if he was uncomfortable as he would be screaming, it really reassured me, and then after 48 hours he did something I can’t even describe. It can be normal, but if your concerned ring the midwife or health visitor always nice having reassurance from a professional x

My girl tends to only have a poo a day, or often will have 2 / 3 poos in the space of two hours then nothing for 24 hours again x

I was told by midwife breastfed babies should poo every day but formula it is normal to not poo every day as it takes longer to digest but obviously shouldn’t be left 3-4+ days if they’re not pooing.
