How long till walking?

My daughter has been standing for a while and this morning she just took 3 or 4 steps independently? I’m curious to hear from moms whose babies are walking now, how long did it take to go from those first few steps to full on walking?

Ours took a few weeks to fully start walking once he took a few steps. You should be close!

Mine is still too iffy about taking independent steps

My baby took her first steps at 9 months. After a month she was running lol..Keep her on the floor and around other kids that are walking if possible (she will model them)..You’re almost there, so exciting!

@Leneshia mine too! He has the balance and knows how to stand up but doesn’t trust moving his legs lol

Mine started walking at 9 months, her pediatrician said as long as she's walking good by 15 months. They all go at their own pace.

My son has been walking for a little bit now. He can get from one side of the room to the other and that’s about it, but his cousin just started walking and he’s five months older, so I guess it just really depends.

My son still isn’t taking independent steps but will walk with us or his walker really well
