Fresh vs Frozen

Has anyone else had success with fresh and failure with frozen? We got extremely lucky on the first round with a fresh transfer and had our daughter. We've now tried two frozen rounds with no success..we have two embryos left but I feel like maybe fresh is the only way it'll work. Then I feel like I'm abandoning the two frozen embryos.

Why you can’t try natural cycle transfer night it may make diffrence. No harm to try if your cycle is regular

My only success has been with frozen but, only had one opportunity with a fresh

My first fresh transfer failed. I ended up getting pregnant on my third frozen transfer with a natural cycle. Don’t give up on your little embryos!

I never had a fresh but frozen with pregnant

I never had a fresh transfer but after the birth on my oldest it took 3 transfers to get to our daughter and stats show it can take 2-3 euploids (more for untested embryos) so you are still within normal stats right now

Research suggests that there isn't a difference success wise with a fresh vs frozen transfer. I assume once the embryo is thawed and doing well, it is effectively exactly the same as an embryo that hasn't been frozen. The difference may be with your protocol. I had 2 frozen transfers, the first was medicated and that didn't work for me, the second mimicked the protocol used for a fresh transfer and this worked. Speak to your clinic about different protocol options. Good luck x

We fell pregnant with our first ever fresh transfer, he’s now 3. We had 3 x failed FETs last year with frozen embryos from our first cycle. This year we had a new fresh round, fresh transfer worked and I’m currently 18+5 days pregnant 😊

@Jess congratulations!!!!!
