Feeding

Hi all, my daughter harper is two weeks old and can already go through 4oz of milk (formula) every 2/3 hours.. and can sometimes go for more if she wants it. I've tried all sorts to calm her down with it, but my gosh, she's hungry all the time. Is this normal? I've tried Googling and it says she should only be on 2/3oz.. has anyone else experienced this

My little boy was exactly the same, he is now 16 weeks & still eats every 2 hours😂 he went through stages of eating more / less each time & I was concerned like you but honestly it’s fine, ignore google…we just have hungry babies & that’s ok! If they want it then it’s because they need it, my health visitor used to say he’d sick it up if it was too much! :)

Same, my HV said if I was over feeding they would be sick... I had a 9lb 13 hungry boy so you can imagine the feeds he would pack away! 1 week at home and we were on nearly 3oz a feed...as advised by them! Ignore Google ...as hard as that is I understand completely as I was attached to it when my boy was born

Thankyou so much that's settled me! ☺️

My baby was the exact same! She is now 9 weeks old on 7 ounces! Xx
