That’s one thing not to worry about then at least☺️ they should be able to do another cervical smear if cause for concern been as ur over the minimum time to wait PP so if ur concerned maybe ask if they feel it’s necessary but can be caused by just irritation/bruising especially if ur partner is large
@Jessica she didn’t want to repeat smear as only had one few months ago she has requested a coloscopy but the waiting list huge! She said she wasn’t worried but I can’t help but feel anxious about it as I suffer with health anxiety at best of times xx
I can understand that, the good thing is that cervical cancers grow at an incredibly slow pace so I’m sure all that can be done would be. If ur super anxious tho maybe just book in another Appt for reassurance? I can understand as my smear came back to be repeated within a year but I’m pregnant so will hv to wait to get it 👀
@Jessica oh no! How long will you need to wait? I may get another exam done but my anxiety through roof! So may just wait and worry 😭 xx
I’ve no idea a few weeks/months PP but it’s kind of one of those things, if you’ve done all you can then alll there is to do is wait, somethings are outwith our control but obvs symptoms get worse you should say, easier said than done tho to try wait and not let it eat you up
It’s not always cancer and I’m sure if she felt concerned she would hv said or done a check. Maybe double check is sex is a good idea. If ur pregnant at the mo x
