Not interested in formula??

Baby girl is 10 months on the 16th but lately these past 2 weeks I’ve been noticing she is refusing to drink her milk. She will have at most 2-3oz from a 6oz bottle(she won’t take more than 6oz) she’s having nowhere near what she’s supposed to be taking. She has 3 meals during the day, breakfast , lunch & dinner and I really try to give her milk in between but like I said she really only drinks 2-3oz if that…. I know they are supposed to be having at least 20-24oz right? I’m worried she’s not getting enough nutrients but then she has home made meals through out the day for eg. She had poached salmon, broccoli and potatoe mash for lunch yesterday so I’m not extremely worried because I know she’s getting nutrients from that but still makes me wonder is it enough knowing she’s not drinking enough milk? Any advice girls I’ll gladly appreciate it, kind of worried here or is anyone in the same boat as me?? Thanksss xx

My boy is exact same age to the day as your little girl. We now just give him a bottle first thing in the morning and last thing before bed and he drinks near enough the full bottle. I give him vitamin drops just incase but he eats all his meals and food and is gaining weight so I'm not overly concerned xx

Aww birthday twins😍 that’s exactly like my baby girl!! I think I might start doing the same as you hun 1 bottle in morning and 1 before bed! She also eats all her meals she loves food haha and is gaining weight ☺️… What vitamins do you give your boy hun? I saw the wellbaby ones and I’m thinking I should grab some and start adding these drops in her formula? Do you think I should talk to HV before doing so or would be fine?? Thank you for replying!! Xx

@Andrea I was really panicked thinking he wasn't going to be well. My health visitor told me just supplement with vitamins, make sure I'm getting wet nappies/dirty nappies and that he's drinking water or something in between bottles. I give him Yogurts and meals and snacks cause he's like your wee one - a foodie!🤣 the abidec ones are the ones we use but I believe wellbaby is just as good! You could if you want but I think you'd be fine without it. You could always try dropping it and seeing how she gets on over the next week?😄 I just found Lochlan wanted a little snack where he would have had that lunchtime bobo so basically our day goes...

Wake up - bottle
An hour later - breakfast
First nap
An hour later - lunch
An hour later - snack
Second nap - supper about half an hour after waking
Just before bed - bottle

My baby is only drinking 12ish oz a day. She eats well, drinks water has plenty of wet nappies so I’ve just tried to make sure I’m giving her yogurt/cheese/milk in food and given up worrying about it. I offer her 3 bottles and she will drink roughly 4oz of each so I give her multivitamin drops with breakfast x

awww perfect! Well I need to update you on the 2 bottles a day and IT WORKS!! She’s drank her whole 6oz in the morning and her other 6oz at night! I am so happy haha I might even up it 1oz see if she even notices haha.. I’ve ordered the well baby drops from Amazon so should be coming today and I’ll start adding these to her bottles!

Awww bless your little one such a foodie aswell 😍… hun your routine is basically mine I can’t believe it as I was reading it 🤣 - the 2nd nap!!! My baby girl only has 1 nap in the day but I think it’s because she sleeps through the whole night☺️ thank you for sharing that with me and can’t believe they will be 1 soon ahhh where is the time going!!?? xxx

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
