Heya, I just got accepted into London met.. but one of my conditions is to send them an up to date cv.. I've been on maternity leave..and resigned from work 09/22 and went travelling with my LO.. I'm not sure how to include that gap or what to do next.
Currently I'm a drop in volunteer and a MH service but the only from this January as well.
Please help ?

Easily done, you can put from the last date you worked until now under "personal growth period", or you can leave it blank and put a cover note stating the reason for the gap. You travelled, that shows someone who achieves things. You got pregnant and needed time to adjust to motherhood. Nobody will question it because you've not sat around and achieved nothing, you've done amazingly and if they don't see that then they're not worth wasting your time ☺️ x

Just upload ur CV; you must change it when you start. I did my first model, Employability Skills, where they look at your CV and cover letter. Job advisers at the uni will also look at it, and it just makes it easier for them to have a look at it. Mine has been changed twice, once in the first year and the work coach at my uni.

My advice is to apply for the childcare grant and the parent allowance. These two ain't automatic.

If u ever want to ask me anything I'm here
hey hun, I need to submit my cv so I can get my offer. I'm yet to accept it but it's conditional ? They've asked me to send them an up to date cv.
how do I phrase that I'm really struggling. Should I do it as a paragraph at the end ? ( I've already submitted my cover letter but I didn't add anything on there about what I've been doing- just why I wanted to do the program, transferable skills and why I choose the uni) xx
Than you ❤️

Okay so the next best way to do it is to put it in your bit about your hobbies and interests on the actual CV. Say something along the lines of: you have a passion for travel, seeing new sights with your child and embracing other cultures. It should help them understand the blank between working and now.
Hope this helps. Xx ❤️
Thank you ladies I updated it and they said it's all good. I have an unconditional offer now xx
