Worried

I am 17 weeks pregnant with a 6 month old and lately he’s been more attached to me (crying for me, only wanted me etc) I know when your pregnant babies tend to attach to you more but it wasn’t like this it’s gotten worse and it started when I gotten more sick I’ve been throwing up blood and not feeling great and been sad… could he maybe sense that something is wrong with me or the baby? Or am I just overthinking this?

Babies do tend to have a very good sense however, my baby is like this right now as well. He’s very attached. I can barely cook dinner get in the shower without him wanting me to hold him and also it was never like this he very independent so I think this is something normal to expect!

They definitely know something is going on. Every time I puke my daughter has to check on me and she’s going through the 8 month cling faze anyways because it’s when they learn they are separate from us and we can leave them and at first she was clinging on to both of us now she wants me all the time. She REFUSES to sleep in her crib and I have to be touching her if not she will come lay across my chest and go back to sleep and if her dad is holding her she freaks out and crawls as fast as she can to me

Overwhelmed!

I’m due in June with my first baby, we started saving money before I found out I was pregnant and have continued to save money however, as we’ve needed to buy lots of baby stuff, decorate her room etc, we’ve not been saving no where near as much so obviously our total amount of savings hasn’t been going up as much as we like.

We’ve just had our renewal for some bills like council tax (which has gone up) etc. I just feel really deflated and thinking how on earth are we going to survive when I’m on maternity pay 😕

I know everything will be okay but it’s just really got to me today.

Did anyone else feel like this? Was there any help or things you did to make it easier?

Consultant booked c section for 39+4?!

Is this normal? I recently moved house so all my care was under a different hospital who advised thinking about a section after my last birth was awful with lots of complications and ended up in theatre anyway. I chose this and was told it would be at 38 weeks, also having issues with my heart, high blood pressure and preeclampsia symptoms again. But this new consultant would only book it for then but it makes me so anxious how close that is to my due date?? Is this normal?

Growth Scan

I have a growth scan today because my fundal height measurement has stayed the same at 29cm from when I was 28+5 weeks. Now I'm 32+3. Has anyone else experienced this? It has made my growth chart go from just under 90th percentile to under 10th.

Name crisis

I was so decided on a name, now I'm having second thoughts. It's not a standard name and his middle name is set after my Dad, John. He's very traditional and I know he'll hate the first name I chose! Open to any ideas! I would love if the initials sounded right too! Again, middle name "John". Thank you ladies!! 😭💟

Which induction method??

Im at the hospital now for induction and dont know which method to go for.
I initially didnt want the balloon because the sweeps really hurt me and I feel it will be most uncomfortable but seems like the highest success rate? And no hormones.

What has everyone else done and recommend?

Growth spurt?

At 32 weeks lg measured at 6th centile. Today, 34 weeks she measures 28th centile. I was so certain these things doesn't happen so late in pregnancy? Another scan at 36 weeks. Midwife said It could be undermeasure at 32 weeks, overmeasure today or *ust right and we will see where she plots in two weeks time. 🤷🏼‍♀️
