My two year old says over a few hundred words idk how many, too much to count 🧎🏾♀️

Mine says maybe 15. He will be 2 years old on the 13th.

Too many to count.

About 30 in sign language and verbal total

My son says very little actual words but understands all. He's getting more vocal now

yeah my two year old talk but like gibberish I understand him

Yep, that's my boy too. We get 'cat' and 'dog' consistently now, and 'Da', 'Mama', 'What that' or 'What this' occasionally. We swear we hear other words at times but it's hard to tell as he doesn't repeat them. For the rest he just babbles. I spoke to his health visitor (we're in the UK) a few months back and he has his 2-year review soon, and she said not to worry too much. They each develop in their own time and boys in particular will generally focus on motor skills first rather than their verbal skills. My boy does so in particular after having hip dysplasia corrected which had his legs restricted for over 3 months as a baby. She said for now him understanding words, questions, instructions, recognising people and things etc is plenty for his age.

I’m a boy mom and my oldest did the same thing by 24 months he was talking clearly

My daughter is only saying a few words and some Sign language. She is now in speech therapy !

My April 7 boy only says about 10-15 words. We went for a speech evaluation. The SLP suggested 2 30min sessions a week, just waiting on insurance approval.

off topic but aw ours have the same birthday 🥹

My April 19th boy pretty much never stops talking. He knows more words than I keep track of.

Mines at full sentences but each kid develops differently!

Not yet

mines as well, I’ve noticed new words since he’s been seeing one.

My daughter only says a handful of words we started speech therapy for her

how’s things going so far?

Mine talks in full sentences already at 2, but a nephew didn’t talk much until 3.
