Thanks so much! Do they kick family out bang on time or is there a bit of flex? X
Depends on the midwife and situation but most of the time, yes, they want family and partners to leave at 8pm. Which in my opinion is fair because there are 4 bays in every ward and most women will want to rest so it can be quite annoying having people trying to stay later when they are meant to. It is different if you are in the labour ward, the partner can stay with you then until you are transferred to postnatal ward.
The ward was that hot when I was in my partner didn’t want to be there he kept offering trips to the shop
Park just over the bridge. It’s much easier, car park floor is a bit bumpy but the 3 mins it takes to walk over to the main entrance saves a lot of time and stress. If you stood at the round about facing away from the hospital it’s on the left.
