@Abbie I have a 2 year old will he be allowed to visit me in the hospital if they keep me I just want to get all the information before I go in to labour
Yes but not until the children's visiting hours. Hopefully they've changed it because that rule is rubbish! Who wants to wait all day to see their other babies??
I was only in over night, I went home about 4pm
@Abbie the doctor who seen me in the hospital said I will give birth where there will be doctors I don’t understand about that where I go in North Manchester Hospital
They'll be midwives, doctors, surgeons, all kinds of people available
There's a maternity part at the hospital. Is that what you mean? There's a triage, delivery suites, birthing centre, labour ward and postnatal ward

I meant my partner wasn't allowed to stay overnight. He was there during labour and afterwards and so was my Mum

During birth? I'm not sure. I've had two at both of mine
Antenatal and postnatal ward have visiting hours. Once you're in labour ward ready to have your baby, your husband is allowed to stay with you at all times.
minimum you’ll be in is 6h after birth as they do a 6h check on baby and if you and baby are all good you can go home - that’s what happened with me x
@Amy I heard in Nottingham hospital they give breast machine here in Manchester do they do anything

@Aalia they give you two hats for baby and maternity pads, i didn’t ask for anything, i packed everything i needed so im not sure if they have anything more available x

When I had my little girl June last year, they had some rules. Visiting was from 8am but only 1 other visitor in the bay. Partner wasn't allowed to stay and children aren't allowed to visit until 5pm I think
