Help starting

So I've just been on holiday, and looking back at the pictures, I'm really not happy with my weight

I'm currently 9 months pp, before I was pregnant I was a size 12/14 but now I'm a size 18/20 (UK)

I've got no clue where to start with everything, but I know at the moment I absolutely hate my belly and how it hangs down so much😭

Any help/advice would be great atm, we don't have much money, so things like the gym are out of the question- I already walk about 5 miles a day so not sure how I could walk much morešŸ˜‚

Picture of me and my LG from the holiday we've just been onā¤ļø

I know dealing with weight after birth is extremely hard especially the stubborn belly fat but there are small and gradual ways we can lose weight every day!

I’ve had three children so far within 3 years and i’m pregnant with my fourth,
But I’ve dropped down my weight from nearly 80kg back to 65kg every time!

Walking is one way which I love but increase the speed too, house chores like hoover and mopping it moves our arms and bodies (I hoover 2 times a day kids make lots of mess) eat what you usually eat but small portions and no fizzy drinks !! I drink plenty of water, I literally don’t give myself time to sit, keep getting up and down, I purposely leave my kids nappies upstairs so I can run up and down and not be lazy by having it close by.
There’s so much we can do without realising but this is my way and it’s better than spending money at the gym lol x

Low carb, keto kind of diet is the best for weight loss in my opinion!

If you can keep your carbs under 40g per day and make sure to eat lots of diverse fruits and veg, you’ll see the weight drop off really quickly and you’ll start to have much more energy. Good fats such as organic butter, avocado, lots of eggs, olive oil etc are key here though and remove all seed oils from your diet as they cause inflammation. Make sure you check all labels in everything you eat as a lot of things include rapeseed or sunflower oil which are just rubbish for your body. The more fresh fruit and veg you can eat, the better.

Try not to see it as a diet and more of a lifestyle so you can stick to it and it’s more sustainable. If you do eat bread, try rye sourdough as it’s fermented and full of prebiotics which are good for gut bacteria but really try to reduce your carb intake as I said below 40g per day. Just google ketosis or buy some books on it.

And of course, stick to your long walks! 😊 x

@Laura I've tried keto/low carbon before and it made me really ill, ended up in hospital and the doctors told me to not do that againšŸ˜‚

Swimming, smaller portions, eat more protein to fill up. Have a balanced diet. Drink plenty of water. Get some exercise equipment for home. HB do weights that aren’t too expensive. Exercise videos on YouTube, dance videos. Jogging. Good luck! It takes time but I’ve lost about 2 stone so far
