Could you please recommend books (bedtime stories, sensory, etc.) to get for the baby’s first book library?
What are your babies and toddlers enjoying the most? Thanks!

In Aldi we bought a collection of books that are basically nursery rhymes like the wheels in the bus etc and little one absolutely loves them!x

“That’s not my..” series was a big hit for my bub, “woof woof” and other “can you say it too” series too

One camel called Doug is a fave in our household! And also Mavis the Bravest :)

My little girl was and still is obsessed with dear zoo, there’s dear me and another I can’t remember the title off too by the same author.
Other books we loved: guess how much I love you, Paddington, spot, the gruffalo and the hungry caterpillar. Many more. As she grew I got her a Tony box and have managed to get many of her favourites on that too so she can listen to them now 🥲

Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss!!!

We’ve been reading Goodnight Moon since he was born and now he can recite it on his own at 2 years old 😂🥰

The dinosaur that pooped series and any Julia Donaldson books.

The books that come with the Lovevery kits are amazing. The first two are called High Contrast, Baby and What Do You See, Baby? You can probably find them in resale if you don't get the kits/bundles

Can you get the baby a library card? :)

The never touch ones are good they are sensory in all the pages. My little one like never touch a dragon/ dinosaur, or books that make sounds

my little boy loves the library , they do a reading program for children and don’t charge late fees for childrens book

Any lift the flap books are a hit. I like ‘What the ladybird heard’. I now know that off by heart. 😂
