Settling at night

I find that when baby wakes up at night it takes forever to get him back to sleep. Please can you share what you do for example do you just feed then out to sleep, or would you always do a nappy change, and in which order.

I do feed, half way through burp and nappy then the rest after then burp. Then back to bed. Seems to work x

I do exactly the same as Jodie, feed and change when he stops for a burp halfway x

I do nappy then feed and burp every 1 to 2oz then keep him upright for abit then put into his next to me xx

Thanks everyone! Do you feed every time then?

I usually do (bubba is breastfed) and tonight I only fed when I saw feeding cues. The other times I just cuddled first and on one occasion that’s all it took for him to sleep. Just thinking that I’ve probably been doing too much sometimes (my boy wakes up a lot).

Same as above…

Do you put lights on at all?

We used to put a dim lamp on in our bedroom but one night we forgot and only had the light from the groegg & LG settled back to sleep so much better x

I’ve started keeping it as dark as possible and it does make a difference! Also trying to change him without waking him lol

Difficult task that isn’t it! But that’s why we change mid feed so she has some milk to make her sleepy again 🙈

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!
