Body rejecting piercings
Hi! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced piercing rejection since being pregnant? I had 6 ear piercings when i got pregnant, my ‘newest’ being done a good 7 years ago now. From 10 weeks onward my body started rejecting them from newest to oldest - they were getting all infected etc after never having any problems with them.
Thankfully my first piercings weren’t affected but i’ve noticed the last 24 hours one of them has started becoming irritated. I ALWAYS clean my earrings and my piercings. I just find it strange. I’ve had these first piercings for 13 years now with no issues and now my body is rejecting them! Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes! My tongue bar rejected, was so sad to lose it :( I also seem to be becoming allergic to all of my tattoos ❤️🩹
Yeah I haven't worn anything in some of the holes in my ears for years but somehow one of them has gone really sore as if I've worn some bad jewellery. Some of my tattoos have been irritated too
oh wow really? i’ve not noticed anything with my tattoos yet, fingers crossed! it’s so strange how it happens isn’t it? x
yeah its only a couple but its very random x
I’ve had the same thing happen to me lovely! 2 of my helix piercings have been rejecting so I’ve had to upsize on jewellery hugely to allow for the extra swelling & keloid bumps that have all of a sudden appeared out of nowhere. It’s really common in pregnancy apparently (that’s what piercers told me) xx
