Hitting 😩

My daughter smacks, scrams, and pushes me more so lately not sure why 🤦🏻‍♀️it’s driving me insane earlier on she nearly threw a china cup because I said no to something and she knows what she’s doing as she always gives a look when she knows what she’s about to do and what is wrong

Our little boy does this but it's not anger when he does it. It's just their age they all go through it. They know what they want and can't understand their emotions. Their brains are learning so much at this age.

My son smacks and scratches and now started to kick!! It’s age appropriate but very frustrating!!! I change my tone of voice and say do not hit it’s unkind and he sometimes changes his behaviour and cuddles me like he knows it’s wrong but they’ve got massive emotions! X

We had a hitting phase, mainly her new brother but others as well, but seem to be mostly through it now. We read the ‘hands are not for hitting’ book which I think helped a little. A book about emotions might help too, we know nursery was doing this with her.
