Water breaking

So earlier today I thought my water broke because it felt like I was peeing myself and I had no control of it, just a few trickles of clear liquid on and off but it stopped now. I am 34weeks and 2days has anyone experienced anything like that?

Hi! You should go to doctor/hospital bc if it was your waters they’ll usually want you to give birth within 24 ish hours/be induced bc risk of infections. Or at least that’s what happens after 37 weeks? Worth calling your doctor and asking

Happened to me, it was pee, but I still got checked! Go get checked!

I had similar but dismissed it, went in for a regular appointment later in the day with what I was convinced were braxton hicks, only to be told they were contractions. Daughter was born within 24 hours.

Always worth getting it checked, worst that can happen is it was pee

I most definitely did, and I'm pretty sure it was around the same stage of pregnancy, so about 34w and whatever days. A month later, the same thing happened to me, I felt a trickle after I went pee and went to get back into bed so I brushed it off thinking it was incontinence again. I woke up a few hours later, and every time I would move around I would have trickles. I made my husband come home and take me to L&D and sure enough, my water was leaking and I had my son at 5:31am the next morning lol

C Section Date

I’m 37 weeks and I’m due on 6th April. I’m having an elective c section and haven’t been given my date yet, is anyone else in this situation? X

How many of you had your c sections rescheduled?

So I'm choosing to have a c section this time around because I had an emergency c section after being induced last time. That was less than 2 years ago so I don't think it's a good idea to try again. I'm really nervous it's gonna be rescheduled bcs I have my sister taking time off work to help me out with the baby in the hospital since my husband will have to go home to be with our toddler at night. Also my husband starts his leave on that day so I don't want him to lose any more days. So I'm just wondering how common this is. I'm in the US in NJ

Unwell after sweep

I’ve had a sweep earlier today, lost the mucus plug about a couple hours later. Got period type cramping immediately, I hadn’t even left the midwife appointment yet. I have contractions and permanent back cramping, alongside waves of nausea - which is a combination I’m struggling with as I feel quite unwell. Nowhere near labour, as I’ve had 6 contractions in the span of 3 hours or so. A midwife told me sweeps cause really bad cramping, so I assumed it was normal. But just want to check if there’s anybody out there in a similar boat? Should I be calling the hospital to check if it’s all normal?

39 Week Induction Being Pushed On

Went to my 36 week appointment today and my OB was pushing for a 39 week induction.

I want a natural spontaneous labor but my OB kept pushing for the induction even if I’m low risk and healthy. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Has your life become a living nightmare since becoming a mom?

Sometimes I become conscious of the fact that I just have to wake up tomorrow morning and do this all over again. Every day. And then I wanna bash my head into a brick wall
