Best nappies for chunky bellies (UK)

No matter what size (I've tried smaller & larger size) nappies just don't seem to fit properly around her belly. She's not big at all (25th percentile) but is chunky and it just feels like the front and back of the nappy don't meet which then leaves an escape route for wees at the top of her thighs. Currently using Tesco size 4 which is otherwise perfect in terms of sizing but when she stretches out, the front part pulls right down 🤔 it's hard to explain what I mean but does anyone have recommendations for chunky belly/thigh friendly disposable nappies that preferably don't break the bank or am I doomed until she fits in pull-ups 🥴

I’ve got some pampers size 3 and 4 pull ups so maybe try pull ups and see if that helps??

oh I didn't realise you could get them in size 3! I thought 4 might be a bit big in pull-ups. Will have a look for those, thank you ☺️

I use Aldi size 4 pull ups and they are the best fit for my LBs big belly because the waistband is so stretchy and much thicker than nappies 😁 have also never leaked through

Tesco do size 4 pants we use them and they’ve been the best so far

thank you, I guess if she's in size 4 normal nappies, the same brand pants in theory should be the same fit 🤞🏻

I think the weight is a little higher but I’ve never paid attention to the weight on them. My LB is in size 5 pants and the weight starts from 10kg I believe and he’s not 10kg yet but the size 4 are way too small for him.

I use size 3 pampers pull ups and they’re perfect! They leave a little mark but it isn’t too tight I think it’s just when they’re laying down and it presses into their belly xx

It doesn’t seem to bother my little one xx

I’d try size 3 and 4 though as the pull ups seem slightly more snug possibly then the strap nappies xx

Try aldis as I use aldis size 4 pull up and they fit like a charm on my little boy

I used Aldi pull ups from size 4 (I think…)

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
