Is anyone else really struggling to focus and motivate themselves at work? I like my job but my brain just doesn’t seem to want to let me really focus on tasks or be motivated to achieve anything!
Like probably most of us I’m pretty tired and fatigued - not excessively - but my brain just can’t get going!

Yes big time, I also have to take my 1 year old to work with me as I work in a nursery, and he’s currently going through a horrible stage of screaming etc. so not only can I not focus due to him, but have tiredness and pregnancy brain on top of that.. feel like I be aswell be on maternity leave already 🥲

Yes I had this a couple of weeks ago- how far along are you? I am now nearly 27 weeks and feeling much better energy wise but have a bit of baby brain 😂

26+3 so fairly similar stage to you. I hope it clears soon for me then! I want to be able to hand things over in a good state when I go on leave not leave them in a shambles! 🤣

I can’t focus for stints longer than 15/20 mins. It’s like all my motivation/ focus/ willpower left the building a couple weeks back. I’m 24 weeks today, really hoping for some focus to return otherwise I’m going to be getting a bollocking from work for the dwindling number of tasks I achieve each day x

I thought it was just me! This week has been a write off, and I’ve even questioned my sanity. Honestly brain is not in gear this week at all.

Yup !!! My work paid for this super expensive course for me right before I got pregnant and it’s been 5 months and I just can not focus to understand it and do it. And time is running out, so I feel bad. But I honestly just can’t not motivate myself nor focus 😭

well I’m sure you are sane! But hormones sure do make you question things don’t they! 🤣

I totally get it! I’m going on a just a 2 day thing next week and I am genuinely concerned that I won’t be able to take anything in! Hopefully you’ve absorbed more than you think! 🤞🏼😊

awww bless you! You sound like an absolute warrior though so be proud of yourself! Hopefully your 1 year old comes out of that stage soon! 🤞🏼
