Fear
What if my waters don’t break ? No signs on labour? No back pain or lower pain? No braxton Hicks?
and I go pass my due date?
I was told I have no risks and will be delivering vaginally. i’m now scared what if baby doesn’t come 🥲

a lot can change within a few days/weeks if you’re currently experiencing no symptoms that labour is about to start i wouldn’t worry as you’re only just about to be 38 weeks. i’m 39+2 and haven’t experienced any of these yet including braxton hicks but every woman is different and some don’t even experience them, waters may break during labour or before baby is here they may not always break to signal the start of labour. try not to stress and trust baby will come when they are ready, you will start to get symptoms later on (even ones you may not even know were signs like looser bowel movements or feeling nauseous, etc.)

Your baby will come one way or another- there isn’t any other option you can’t be pregnant forever haha! Currently 41+2 post 2 sweeps with basically no signs, but I know this time next week my baby will be here some way🤷🏼♀️ whether he decides to come on his own, induction booked for Monday or whether I have a c section. Your baby will come- every day is one day closer and your body does things behind the scenes that we don’t even realise!

You’ll always go into labour eventually! There is nothing wrong with going past your due date x

No baby has stayed in, they will book you an induction or offer membrane sweep if you go overdue, my first was born 11 days after due date 🙂 waters broke only when i was 9cm. You have plenty of time still, try to enjoy the time you have now ❤️

A due date is really a guess. You’re not post-term until 41 weeks and some countries until 42 weeks!
Like others have said - you won’t be pregnant forever. You’re still a month off being post-dates. Midwives will start offering sweeps and induction is always an option. This is the hardest bit so be kind to yourself!

With my first I was 10cm dilated and my waters still hadn’t broke so they broke them for me. Pushed for 8 mins and he arrived!
No baby will stay in I promise 😅 x

There is nothing wrong with going past due date… due dates are estimated and not accurate at all. I went into labour 40 + 5 spontaneous and my waters broke only during active labour the second I got into birth pool lol. Your baby is coming out when he/she is ready and your body is ready. Try to soak in these last waiting moments and gather all the energy for the birth ❤️❤️
