My mother doesn’t have a clue 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s like my own mother has forgotten what it’s like to birth 3 babies lol. I’m currently 37+3 pregnant with my second and didn’t get the chance to go into labour naturally with my first as I was induced so I have no idea what symptoms to look out for leading up to labour, this morning I called my mum panicking because wasn’t sure if what I was feeling throughout the night was start of contractions or just my body getting ready for labour so asked if she could come up and stay as my MIL is supposed to be staying to look after my daughter while I go into labour but wouldn’t be able to make it this weekend as she has other commitments, so I asked my mum if she could come just incase I go into labour sooner. Anyways she just didn’t seem too bothered said your just feeling normal pregnancy symptoms it’s too early you still have until the 18th(my due date) but if you need me to come up and stay I can book a train ticket for the 14th and stay until MIL comes up on the 18th. I was like she isn’t coming up that date she’s on standby as I could come into labour anytime, baby could decide to come early or later and there’s no point booking a train ticket for that date I could go into labour before then but she just doesn’t seem to understand what I’m saying. Anyways just needed to rant I guess I’ll either have to leave my daughter home alone or with a complete stranger thanks for nothing mum 🙄
