Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone had found other allergies to be a problem alongside or instead of cmpa? My LG is 4/12 old and has always had silent reflux at night, painful bowel movements and mucus in stools. After an episode with blood in her stool about 6 weeks ago I cut out dairy. I have since cut out soya as she still had reflux on some evenings and 2 weeks ago gave up eggs for the same reason. I have been trying to keep a food diary and these seemed like the most obvious things to cut. I’m vegetarian so I’m reluctant to keep eliminating more and I am due to do a milk test next week. However my baby just passed this very painful very mucusy stool. She has had a few like this. Has anyone had similar and got to the cause? It’s really affecting our sleep as she is hard to put down due to the reflux then wakes up throughout the night with seemingly a painful tummy and very gassy 😩

You dont have to add chicken but i do
Purple Sweet potato, celery, cauliflower, broccli, cucumber, pumpkin, chayote, chiard, kale, and red mills 13 bean mix soaked for 8 hours rinsing well and adding all things together in a big pot with water and cooking for 1 hour then blending well and would mix with my breast milk, now i mix with organic almond milk

When my baby was born til two months she was severly colic, always uncomfortable-crying, would be constipated and would go almost a week not pooping, i decided to finally do the soup and within a week her stools came out everyday and solid like adult poop. It comes out looking so healthy, she wouldnt cry as often and this also helped with sleep. She used to cry til 4am ans then would finally sleep but for a few hours, after the soup she slept from 11 throughout the night ..
My baby is now 1 and her pediatrician said she was anemic and after the soup her anemia went away. My baby is so smart, her development and metabolism is doing amazing

Ours was dairy, eggs and fish - fish is a huge problem for him! So might be worth trying that? I’m so sorry, it’s a nightmare trying to figure it out xx

Mine is dairy, soya, and coconut
Thanks everyone. I don’t eat fish or much coconut at the moment but I guess there could just be something else. Other thing I realised is that if she was lactose intolerant then whatever I cut out would make no difference as she will still have the lactose from my breast milk. Going to trial Colief and maybe then some of the lactose free formula to see if that makes any difference to her symptoms 🤷🏻♀️

In addition to the ones you
mentioned top 8 allergens also include wheat, Tree nuts, peanuts, fish and shellfish. Sesame is also quite common
