Universal credit

I am currently on maternity leave with my second child and I have separated with my children’s father he does not see them at all and my mum is an alcoholic so do not have support so I’m thinking of leaving my job as I can’t get consistent childcare so without being nosey just wanted to know a rough figure of what anyone else gets who has two children and do not work to know if this is going to be a manageable

approximately you’d get around 900 a month UC, you may also be able to get help with rent but that depends on if you rent or own a house best to check a benefit calculator to get the right estimate!
