Question for PS5 moms
Anyone that plays on a ps5 able to help me. So for a while my husband was the only one that had a PS but I had my own account on it and then just recently bought me my own system and before he bought me my system he would buy me digital games that I would want to play and then when I got my account set up on my system I noticed that all the games that he bought for me had locks on them and saying I have to purchase them again. Is there a reason for that and how can I get them unlocked to continue to play them

The purchased games stay with the account and he maybe had share permissions enabled allowing you to play for free. You can add his account to your ps5 as well and enable share permissions and you should have access to all the games
even when I’m on my account on his system those games will still have a lock on them
🤔 in his settings see if you can enable purchase share I think it’s called. Not in front of my ps5 right now but I know there’s a setting to enable ppl to play whatever games on your ps5 while logged on to your ps5

he should be able to game share w you!
tell him to set your console as the primary ps5 for the account that owns the games, then he can still play on the account that owns them on his console and you can play on another account on yours
how would we do that?
@Kenzie it should be somewhere in the settings, go to the acct that owns the games on your console. it might be in PSN settings
ive only ever done it on ps4, sorry!
you may have to disable it on his first!
