I've never had lash extensions, so I dunno how long it takes... But I lie on my back all the time, just not to sleep.
But some people do get lightheaded/faint lying on their back in late pregnancy.

I lay on my back but ask for breaks when I need them I've been going to my lash girl for years and she's fine with it. She also has me propped up a bit which helps

I was so lucky and my lash tech actually used a recliner chair that laid back enough for her to do my lashes but for me to not be flat on my back.
The one time I had to go to someone else I laid on my side but had to try and keep my head flat, wasn’t very comfortable that’s for sure!

I found it more comfortable to sleep on my back during my third trimester and baby came out fine. I’m not promoting on sleeping on your back but if you lay on your back now again, you’ll be fine

I agree with the women that have already replied but personally my lash tech will lash me whilst I’m on my side. I try not too go as much when I’m pregnant as I feel bad as I know that is uncomfortable for her but will never lie on my back at all x

I lay on my side and just adjusted my head so it was straight which was perfectly comfortable but if it’s not comfortable you can ask your lash tech to do one eye at a time as you lie on your side. Mine offered me a pillow but you can always bring your own too!

You can lay on your side while still keeping your head straight, maybe also ask your lash tech for breaks every 30minutes or so, I’m sure she’ll understand x

I get mine done once a month and since second trimester my eyelash lady sits the back of the bed up, probably the same height as when you go for a scan sometimes bit higher if uncomfortable.

You're lash tech should be well used to lashing people on their sides. If its more comfortable for you on your back, just take breaks xxx

Hi ladies. Quick question… did anyone suffer with a lot of lash fall out in the second trimester? I’m having to get my lashes done weekly!

Avatar

I was really lucky and didn’t but my eyelash technician said so many of the girls who have lashes and are pregnant stopped getting them done as they were shedding so much they were constantly paying weekly it’s to do with your hormones x

Avatar

it’s happened to me 3 times now and I just can’t justify having to pay to get a full set done weekly so as long as it is quite common, I’m happy to wait till after the buba is born

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

Palpitations and out of breath

Anyone else dealing with heart palpitations and running out of breath super quickly?

I already spoke to my midwife, and they put me on magnesium and extra electrolytes and said if it doesn’t help, to tell them again. I have my next OB appointment on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it back up when I see her then, but I feel like my shortness of breath has just gotten increasingly worse and the dizziness is now off and on when I used to not get it before.

Anyone else has that experience?

I am 30 weeks on Wednesday (March 25) with a C-section scheduled for end of May.
