Hey I’m 28 weeks and praying your baby is okay 🫶🏾 I had that same issue. I read that sometimes slower movements can come from not drinking enough water and also I tried eating something sweet, cold or laying on my side to wake him up lol and that actually started working. Now, he is hiccuping, kicking and boxing me all the time. There may be a day where he is sleeping longer and I realized it’s because I’m moving around a lot and I read that kind of soothes and rocks them to sleep. He used to only be active at night but his sleeping pattern recently changed

this whole statement you wrote is the exact thing happening to me right now she was moving like nonstop then yesterday she would go like 4 hours and not move then kick me like a few times then not move again it scared me a little but she definitely changed her sleeping patterns for sure

I'm 31w and about 2 weeks ago our Littles patterns changed. I also have been walking/been more active. I haven't done kick counts or anything because of my anxiety, I just take note of her pattern and note if it changes (I'll do kick count when I notice a change for my own peace of mind). But she's gone through two big pattern changes since 20 weeks.

I talked to my doc about it yesterday and she said that honestly, kick counting isn't even something that is agreed upon in the med community (as in all docs have different methods and recommendations for it). She said that really, mom knows her baby at the end of the day and if something feels wrong it's better safe than sorry.

Thank you all for ur advice baby was okay doctor told me about the same thing as all of you around 28 weeks baby is changing their sleeping pattern and they monitored baby’s movements for an hour and said he was actually moving more than most 28 week old baby’s I probably wasn’t feeling it because he was in my back turned that way and said I won’t feel baby’s movement when he’s in my back they made me drink a bunch of cold apple juice and lay on my left side and I started feeling him a lot after that and today I went swimming and after he was very very active

he’s normally more active than a lot of baby’s that’s why i was concerned

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
