Salt River tubing while pregnant?

My friends and I do the salt river every year but I will be 13-14 weeks pregnant when we go. Has anyone ever done that while pregnant is it safe? I talked to a midwife and she said the baby is cut off from the outside world with the bacteria but if anyone has ever done it they know how hot it is.

I did it when I was 29 weeks! Loved every second. Felt super good to float! I hope you go. Have fun!

Ive gone while not pregnant and gotten hurt! Better safe than sorry, I would stay home 🫶🏻

I went while about 3 months preggers and had a blast! Drink TONS of water and go with people who care about your safety above getting too crunk and you'll do just fine 🤣🥰

I’m going this Sat, and I’m 32 weeks pregnant. Just be aware of your surroundings, have really good water shoes with grip on them. I also wouldn’t keep my float attached to anyone else’s float.

@Jada I have a 4 person float

Just be careful and check the water level. I went while 6/7 months and they had op evened the dam so the water level was extremely high and we got in an emergency situation

Consult your doctor if I were you.

Be sure to be careful of the heat, your body temp getting too high can harm the baby. For that reason, my OB had advised against it when I was pregnant.

I ended up with weird marks on my legs after crashing into a fork which was a tiny island with trees coming out everywhere and it resulted in my groups floaties popping. (We brought our own and tied them together which you should never do either tbh imo)

Yeaaaaaah I wouldn’t risk it. You could expose yourself and baby to unexpected bacteria. Definitely consult with your doctor mama. Not all the fun is worth it,
