What is the ruling if you cannot afford qurbani this year?
Husband and I have been struggling financially for the past few months and have a lot of debts . We have no money for qurbani or eid, he was thinking to take out a loan to give qurbani but that would involve interest.

Qurbani is strongly encouraged, but it's not fard so I believe in you're situation you can skip .
You can ask your local sheikh
If you cannot afford it sister then I do not feel you have to do it. In Sha Allah you both get rewarded for the intention
