What age did people give their LO’s teething toys? My boy has just turned 4 months, constantly sucking on his hands/thumb. Have got away until now with not giving him a dummy he just self soothes but thinking maybe should be moving on to teething toys.
Also, do people sterilise their teething toys/toys in general?

My LB is 14 weeks and he has teething toys that he is always using.
I stick them in the steriliser once or twice a day

My little one has had them since about 14 weeks on and off. I sterilise them every other day or daily if he’s had it a long period of time xx

My little girl is 3 months and she’s starting to teeth, I got her gel toys from Tesco that you put in a fridge to make it cool, I wash it every morning then sterilise it for her x

My lo is 12 weeks and just started using teething toys even though she can’t really hold things yet but she noms on it if I put it in her mouth, I also find the teething gloves really handy especially this young. I use Milton sterilising tablets once a day to sterilise and the Milton wipes throughout the day if the toy falls on the floor or something:)

My baby boy is 3 months and started to teethe just before 3 months. And some can’t be sterilised just read the packaging before hand. Some you can only wash in warm water

Sterilise in a proper steriliser I mean. Wipes like others have suggested and stuff would be okay but most tethers that say you can’t put in a steriliser just say to wash in warm soapy water and then rinse in cold water

I started 3 weeks ago my 12 week old is teething I don’t sterilise anything I stopped at 4 weeks old.

Not even bottles? Xx

no I stopped at 4 weeks.
