I am having the SAME problem

Have you tried boric acid suppository? I thought I had a bad yeast infection and because it didn’t go away after two fluconzale pills I had to go to my obgyn do a vaginal swab test. She prescribed me a vaginal cream for 5 days (similar to monistat) and she also told me to buy boric acid. I read so many good reviews about boric acid on Amazon, lots of people saying it worked so well for their yeast infection
Also the test came back normal except for my PH that it was out of balance. At the end it turned out it wasn’t yeast infection, it was a ph imbalance. Last but not least, she told me to get a 50 billion probiotic to support feminine health and ph balance

Since then whenever I feel like I’m starting to feel a discomfort I do boric acid at bedtime for 4/5 nights

Thank you! Did she recommend any specific brand of probiotic? So many out there! I haven’t tried boric acid yet and read mixed reviews how it’s great for some but made problems worse for others. If this isn’t better in another day or two I’m going to call the dr to be seen to make sure it’s definitely a yeast infection. I was on vacation when they prescribed me the Fluconzale and all signs pointed to that (extra discharge, itching, burning, etc) but now I’m wondering:

You could possibly have BV instead of yeast infection that could be why fluconazole is not working. BV takes a completely different antibiotic!

Thanks McKenzie! I don’t have a strong odor smell that they say is present with BV, but could definitely be possible.
