Can my child’s father change her school? For reference we live apart, not in the same area. He wants to change her school but she lives with me?

No he can’t, both parents who have parental responsibility need to agree. Speak with citizens advice, it’s free but you’ll get some clarity around it.
thank you. I have had abit of information on Google which has given some clarity. But seems much better when information comes from real people, and the instant fog that comes with the stress is blurring my thoughts

No he can't. The primary parent only can

I don't know if this helps but we recently moved area and my son 15yrs keeps running back to old area.....To stay at my mums beyond my desire....My mum has actually applied for a new school for him to attend and the local authorities have allowed it to happen. He's 16 in September also so by law he can even choose where he wants to live..... so I still have full guardian ship although my mum has full responsibility for him to go school etc.

If dad has parental responsibility then legally both parents need to agree. The problem is that admissions don’t really check. If one parent wanted to stop the other applying for school and then they’d have to apply to court for a specific issues order.
